US Congressional Negotiators Have Reached A Provisional Agreement On Agricultural Law.

On Friday, US congressional negotiators said they had reached a provisional agreement on hundreds of billions of dollars in agricultural law.

Collin Peterson, chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, said that Congress would complete the agricultural law in the first week of May, which should not be a problem.

Roughly 280 billion US dollars in agricultural law expanded the agriculture and nutrition subsidy program.

On Friday, key breakthroughs were made. Senior legislators agreed to increase the nutritional allowance of $800 million, reduce direct subsidies and disaster payments to farmers.

Senator Kent Conrad said the change is necessary because food costs and food prices are rising.
