A few days ago, media reports reported that Amazon, the US Internet e-commerce giant, would announce its withdrawal from China this week.

Amazon insiders deny it and emphasize that Amazon is a large and business owned company.

It is reported that Amazon's business in China, including Amazon cloud, Amazon global store, Amazon cross-border electricity supplier and Kindle business, can not quit China's huge market.

China shares only 0.7% of e-commerce giant Amazon denies withdrawing from the Chinese market.

There are still rumors that Amazon will retain only two businesses in China in the future, one is Kindle e-book, the other two is cross-border trade, and all other businesses will be abolished.

So to be exact, it should be "Amazon's main business will quit China".

Amazon's retail revenue in the US will reach $258 billion 220 million in 2018, accounting for 49.1% of all online retail spending in the United States, according to the US electricity supplier survey released by market research firm eMarketer.

Although Amazon occupies half of the US retail business, its business has not been well promoted in China.

In 2004, Amazon entered the Chinese market and bought the excellent network with us $75 million. When China's electricity supplier business has not yet formed its scale, it has entered the "giant" position.

In the more than ten years of the brutal growth of e-commerce, Amazon is becoming more and more marginalized, while Alibaba, Jingdong, NetEase koala and other enterprises continue to encroach on Amazon's market share, and its share in China has dropped from 15.4% in 2008 to 0.7% today.

It is worth mentioning that since November 2018, a few months after bidding in several cities, Amazon has finalized the location of its second headquarters in Long Island, New York and Arlington, Virginia.

China shares only 0.7% of e-commerce giant Amazon denies withdrawing from the Chinese market.

At the same time, Amazon also announced that it will be in Nashville, Tennessee, where it will build a Center of Excellence.

In addition, Amazon is currently planning to launch a free, advertising support music service, although it is not yet clear whether the service is automatic play or on-demand, but this free service will undoubtedly bring pressure to the global streaming music service giant Spotify.

It is understood that Amazon will launch the service through its smart speaker Echo, which is likely to be launched this week.
