Guangdong Quality And Technical Supervision Bureau: 18 Batches Of Socks Failed

The official website of Guangdong provincial quality and Technical Supervision Bureau announced the results of special supervision and spot checks on socks quality in Guangdong Province in 2016.

The test found that 18 batches of products produced by 16 enterprises were unqualified, all of which were small enterprises, and the rate of unqualified products found in small enterprises was 36%, and no unqualified products were found in large and medium-sized enterprises.

The spot checks are based on GB 18401-2010, "national textile product basic safety technical specification" and "GB 5296.4-2012" consumer goods instructions fourth parts: textiles and clothing, and GB/T 29862-2013.

Product standards such as "logo of fiber content", "FZ/T 73001" socks "," FZ/T 73031 "pressure socks", "FZ/T 73030" knitting socks "," FZ/T 73037 "knitted sports socks", "FZ/T 73041" warp knitted stockings and other product standards have tested 12 items such as fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dye, color fastness to water, acid fastness to perspiration, alkali resistance, color fastness to dry friction, color fastness to wet rubbing, color fastness to soaping, color fastness to saliva and pverse extension value.

The spot checks found that 18 batches of substandard products were related to socks.

According to the "Guangdong province socks product quality special supervision and spot checks of unqualified products and their manufacturing enterprises list" released in 2016, 16 items of "fiber composition and content" have failed.

The Guangdong Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau said that the production enterprises that failed the sampling inspection had instructed relevant municipal quality supervision departments to order enterprises to stop production and sale of substandard products according to the "PRC quality control law" and "product quality supervision and spot check management measures", and ordered the rectification notice to be reorganized according to law, and the production enterprises with serious quality problems were investigated and dealt with according to law.
