A two-year class action was recently concluded.

The plaintiff in the class action accuses Nike of exaggerating the promotion of FuelBand bracelet, requiring Nike and distribution.

The Apple Corp made compensation.

Now the plaintiff and the defendant have reached a settlement agreement.

The plaintiff said Nike's FuelBand Bracelet could not track the pace accurately and calculate calorie consumption as advertised.

The complaint alleges that Nike and apple continue to sell products when they know they are defective.

Lawyers representing the class action said the two companies were promoting FuelBand Bracelet in stores, television and networks to mislead consumers.

Apple sold all kinds of FuelBand bracelets in stores until the end of March.

Because the FuelBand Bracelet failed to achieve the advertising tracking function, Nike also violated the warranty clause.

According to the settlement agreement, customers who purchased FuelBand Bracelet between January 19, 2012 and June 17, 2015 could receive $15 in compensation or $25 in Nike.

Although apple is accused of class action, the Apple Corp is not liable for compensation, nor does it have to pay legal costs. All expenses are paid by Nike. Nike needs to compensate consumers 2 million 400 thousand dollars in total.

The fair hearing of the settlement agreement will be held in October 4th, when the reconciliation clause, attorney fees and remuneration for class action representatives will be discussed.
