But despite the decline in clothing output, exports in the first four months of this year increased by 111.7%.

Some of the late 2011 production of clothing companies began in early 2012.

Kyrgyzstan currently has 700 garment companies, 95% of which are exported to Russia and Kazakhstan.

Clothing exports account for 4.5% of the country's GDP.
