Argentina International Textile Machinery Parts Exhibition (SIMATEX) is the first professional exhibition of textile machinery in Argentina. It is one of the largest and most important exhibition of garment machinery in South America. Since its establishment, the number of exhibitors and spectators has increased annually, and the last exhibition has doubled the previous one. Last year, more than 210 companies participated in the exhibition, attracting more than 16400 spectators. They are policy makers, general managers, sales executives, garment manufacturers, distributors, retailers, suppliers, purchasers, product development engineers and designers from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, intelligence, Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela, Ecuador, Columbia and Bolivia. The exhibition organizers will increase investment this year to improve the international level of the exhibition. More than 80 products will be exhibited at the conference to showcase the most advanced technology. Argentina's textile industry has absorbed a lot of investment. SIMATEX covers all aspects of the textile industry, including non woven textiles, weaving, washing and dyeing and modifying quality management, weaving and a certain number of other industrial sectors, including publishing, software procedures and so on.

Argentina Textile Industry Promotion Foundation recently said that Argentina's textile industry investment in 2010 will reach US $317 million, an increase of 48% compared with the same period last year, which is expected to create a record high. The latest survey by the textile industry promotion foundation shows that most textile enterprises in Argentina maintained the momentum of active investment in the first 9 months of the year.
