Zhejiang industrial and commercial bureau recently conducted a sampling inspection of the imported garments from Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou, which were sold on the three markets. According to the inspection by professional inspection organizations, the qualified rate of the 34 batches of imported garments imported from Korea was only 50%.

Among them, 17 batches of products obviously do not meet the national standards, including clothing, women's trousers, men's suits, sweaters, blouses and so on. The overall quality is poor.

The detection of fiber content in garment fabrics is an important index in the internal quality inspection of clothing products. In the 17 batches of products tested, there are 8 batches of clothing's fiber content and actual detection.

As a matter of fact, AQSIQ has focused on imported clothing since last year, and the results showed that the batch failed rate reached 10.2% last year.

Among them, the safety and composition indicators of imported clothing are not qualified, especially the color fastness, which is inconsistent with the identification, including the pH value exceeding the standard. The other unqualified items also involve methanol content exceeding the standard and prohibited azo dyes unqualified. The origin of the unqualified products is mainly from Spain, Italy, Korea, India, Portugal, Japan and the United States and other countries and regions.

In Shanghai, in the first half of last year, 11500 batches of imported garments were imported from Shanghai port, with a value of US $220 million.

The Shanghai entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out the sampling inspection for 5625 batches of goods, and the number of unqualified 3100 batches exceeded 55.8%, among which color fastness, pH value, azo dyes and formaldehyde were the hardest hit areas.

Many imported garments are made in China.

In the sampling survey of the above industry and Commerce in Zhejiang Province, it was found that a banned Mayuzumi Ma carcinogenic substance benzidine was found in a knitted jacket covered with the trademark "D modes modes poem". The content of the product was only 20 mg / kg under the domestic standard, but the content of the benzidine was 608 mg / kg in the garment, 30.4 times the standard.

Reporters from the market found that the brand imported Korean clothing priced at 1000 yuan.

"Imported garments are very popular with customers," the daily economic news reporter found in a clothing store claiming to sell Korean imported clothing. While the quality of imported clothing is frequent, it is a hot consumer's attitude towards imported garments.

A garment factory owner told reporters, "in fact, a lot of imported garments are processed in China, and then sold back to the domestic market after the OEM export."

Data show that in 1~2 months, Zhejiang's imports of Chinese made goods amounted to 4 million 688 thousand US dollars, an increase of 21.2%, accounting for 19%.

In February, Zhejiang imported 6 million dollars from the European Union, an increase of 1.7 times compared with the same period last year, accounting for 44.2% of the total value of clothing imports in the same period. The import of clothing for national products was 2 million 565 thousand US dollars, an increase of 1.2 times, accounting for 18.9%.

The owner of the garment factory also told reporters that in order to ensure that the production site was abroad, many foreign brands shipped the "semi-finished products" of the factory back to China, and then processed them to China after the final steps.
