Wu Haiyan, vice president of the China Fashion Designers Association and professor of The China Academy of Art, said that Chinese clothing designers have been developing stronger after years of development, and have their own advantages compared with foreign designers. Now, many developed countries have put the design base in China, and have called the best talents trained by Chinese universities. However, these Chinese designers only make the design assistance work, such as selecting materials, and so on, and put the original in their own country, which set obstacles for the growth of our designers.


At present, Chinese designers are also facing great opportunities.

Wu Haiyan said that a brand designer should cultivate his own research habits for broad market and target market, form identity, sensibility, application and design of the popular phenomenon, and have the professional ability to sort, classify, analyze, research and analyze the information of international and domestic market.

Some cities in China, such as Hangzhou, are creating a good environment to attract designers to start their own businesses.
