The Construction Of Wuchuan Footwear Industrial Park Is Officially Launched.

Wuchuan is one of the three major bases for plastic shoes production in the country. It is known as "the shoe city of South China" and has been selected as "the hometown of plastic shoes in China".

At present, there are more than 400 shoemaking enterprises in the city, more than 20 thousand people in employment, 1 billion pairs of plastic shoes annually, accounting for over 1/3 of domestic output, and 2 billion yuan annual output value. The products include ten categories of EVA fashion shoes, sandals, slippers, rain shoes, casual shoes and health shoes, more than 200 varieties and more than 2000 styles. The products sell well all over the country and exported to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe and the United States.

In order to further promote the development of industrial clusters and expand the pillar industries, the city has carried out the park planning for the footwear industry.

The shoe industrial park has a planned area of 3000 mu, and the first phase of the 350 Industrial Park is located in the Tung Chung area along the Dashan River Street. The two or three phase is near Lin Jing Village and Cai Wu village.

The planning and construction of the industrial park will guide the local shoe enterprises to develop together and operate in clusters, help enterprises integrate production division and marketing resources, and constantly break through in the aspects of deep processing, brand building and export, so as to enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry.
