Italy Leather And Footwear Industry: Production Fell By 12.6% In July

Italy's National Bureau of Statistics said that industrial production in Italy increased by 0.1% in July, down 4.4% compared to the same period last year (if adjusted by working day, 1.8%).

Industrial production fell 1.5% in the first half of 2008 (1.2% after adjustment).

The leather and footwear industry decreased by 12.6% on a monthly basis.
