In February, textile and garment exports grew nearly double in the same period last year, with a monthly increase of 36 months, pushing up the cumulative export growth in the first two months.

It is understood that the main reason for stimulating the rapid growth of exports in February is the general trade pattern. In the same month, the general trade export increased by 102.3%, and the contribution rate to the overall export growth reached 90%.

In 1~2 months, the total trade volume was exported to US $34 billion 570 million, an increase of 30% over the same period last year.

Processing trade increased by 7%, border small trade increased by 60%, and other trade modes dominated by market purchasing decreased by 13%.

Data show that although the export of large categories of commodities has achieved rapid growth, the decline in export unit price has not been reversed.

In February, exports of textiles and clothing increased by 94.4% and 78.8% respectively, and the export of large categories of commodities increased rapidly. However, most of them increased in volume, while export prices had not increased. The export volume of needle woven garments increased by 83.6%, and export prices dropped by 3.1%. Only the yarn export prices recovered 14%.
