According to the report released by Nelson of Nielsen in July 15, 2010, 80% of Indonesia online consumers have online shopping plans in the next 6 months. This phenomenon indicates that online shopping is becoming more and more satisfactory and popular.


Nelson carried out the development trend of global online shopping in from March 8th to 28th, covering 27 thousand and 665 Internet users in 55 markets of Asia, Europe, Middle East and America, of which 7063 came from Asia Pacific countries, and 505 from Indonesia.


The report points out that 76% of Indonesia consumers spend less than 11% of their total monthly purchases online, 18% of consumers spend 11% to 25% of their total expenses, and the remaining 6% consumers spend between 26% and 75%. According to the report, consumers in Indonesia are likely to buy products (38%), clothing accessories and shoes (33%), air tickets (33%) and electronic equipment (6) in the next 6 months.
