The company has gone to the United States to find business opportunities. The overall scale of the exhibition has been nearly two times higher than that of the previous session. This shows that the Chinese textile industry, who has just come out of the international economic crisis, still wants to seize the pulse of the global textile industry.

Unlike the past, this year's Eleventh "China Textile and clothing trade exhibition" extended olive branches to exhibitors outside China for the first time. Apart from 246 Chinese companies, 150 other international textile trade enterprises from 15 countries and regions set up the exhibition together, hoping to join forces with Chinese counterparts to complement each other.

This has led to nearly 400 exhibitors and has become one of the largest textile and apparel professional exhibitions in the east coast of the United States.

Li Baodong, permanent representative of China to the United Nations, Du Yuzhou, President of China Textile Industry Association and Chinese Consul General in New York Peng Keyu attended the opening ceremony on the morning of 13.

Ambassador Li Baodong said in his opening speech, "the textile and clothing trade between China and the United States is the epitome and portrayal of the vigorous development of Sino US economic and trade cooperation in the past 31 years". From the initial China made to the current Sino US joint design and manufacture, Chinese products not only enriched the choice of American consumers, but also reduced the inflationary pressure of the United States and provided more space for upgrading the industrial structure of the United States.

Lu Longsheng, chairman of the Pegasus import and export company from Shanghai, told reporters that since the first exhibition, he has been in the company for 11 consecutive years. The American customers he knew were now friends for many years. "Small businesses have also made big businesses, and small customers have developed into large customers and exhibitions."

This year's exhibition will be held jointly by the textile industry association of China International Trade Promotion Association and the Frankfurt Exhibition (US) company. It will last three days and will be closed in July 15th.
